The studio approaches each project, big or small, in the same manner.  The design process is structured into three basic phases of design: meet, design, deliver.  The studio aims to develop strong relationships with the homeowner, builder, subcontractors and other vendors to ensure a positive outcome: a beautiful space and a happy team.

MEET | GREET | SCHEME

The initial phase of each project begins with documenting existing or new spaces.  Site analysis and documentation kick-off every project, leading the team into the Schematic Design Phase.  During Schematics, design concepts and floor plan options will be generated based on feedback from the initial meeting, a design questionnaire, and review of inspiration images.  The studio has in-house capacity to create CAD drawings and will provide preliminary construction documents to communicate design options.

DESIGN | DRAW | DEVELOP

Final floor plans and an overall concept design will be selected after a series of presentations.  Detailed CAD drawings will include dimensions and notes for construction.  These final concepts will correspond to finish, lighting, plumbing and furniture schedules that will serve as a purchasing and installation guide for client, designer, and general contractor.  The studio’s goal is to provide the best option for the budget and timing available to each project.

MANAGE | DELIVER | INSTALL

Project Management is imperative for all projects, small or large.  The studio works best in collaborative environments, and will work closely with clients, builders, subcontractors, and various vendors to be sure that each project moves along smoothly.  Management of all phases of design lead to timely delivery and successful project installation.
